The Darkness II è il seguito del videogioco d'azione in prima persona uscito nel 2007, The Darkness. La storia si basa sulle avventure di Jackie Estacado e la Tenebra (the Darkness, appunto). Il gioco disporrà di una grafica Cel-shading. Lo sviluppo è passato dai ragazzi di Starbreeze, sviluppatori del primo episodio, ai ragazzi di Digital Extremes ed uscirà per PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 e PC il 10 febbraio 2012
